1. Sunshine is kind of a rarity in Paris.
2. It’s unfortunate, but it’s true. Particularly in winter, we’ll often go days – and sometimes weeks – without seeing a scrap of blue sky.
3. I love blue sky.
4. Whenever there is a bit of sunshine, then, I’m always struck by how much more beautiful Paris becomes.
5. The newfound interplay of sun and shadow just makes the city an even more beautiful place to be.
