Come a Casa is the perfect place to go to feel like you’re in Italy in Paris. The handful of missteps are nearly charming, given the homey quality of the restaurant, service, and plates. And I’ve yet to find anywhere with as delicious a lasagna… and that includes my own house.

Le Grand Bain has been a stalwart standout of mine for years, through multiple chefs and many, many seasonal menu changes. My most recent visit was just one day after Chef Emily Chia, who has been running the kitchen with aplomb, took her final bow, and given the estival weather, it also gave me the opportunity to take a few slightly more appetizing photos than I have on previous visits.
