1. I’m back in one of my all-time favorite cities with one of my all-time favorite people, my sister.
2. Three years ago, she moved from New York to Los Feliz, a neighborhood with more charm than I imagined I’d ever find anywhere in L.A. (Sorry… I’m a New Yorker at heart.)
3. But seriously… this van is consistently parked across the street.
4. My sister and I both work as writers, albeit in slightly different industries. Spending time with her here is an exercise in creativity and happiness. We walk. We talk. We bounce ideas off of one another. We rummage through bookstores and vintage shops. We hike. We eat healthy. We watch a lot of Gilmore Girls.
5. And with colors like these… it’s easy to be happy.
